How can it be any clearer that the unconditional military, economic, and diplomatic support rendered by western governments, including Canada (often against the wishes of large parts of their populations) has turned Israel into the antithesis of lawfulness and accountability? This is a country that has gotten away with a genocide in full view of the world, that has seen zero consequences for targeting doctors, journalists, and vital infrastructure, that has shot at UN peacekeepers in Lebanon with impunity, that attacked the aid flotilla from Turkey in international waters. By all accounts this is a government well and truly out of control.
The Carney government has taken some decent initial steps, but we need to pick up pace on vocally opposing and sanctioning illegal Israeli conduct on one hand, and fast tracking our recognition of Palestinian statehood on the other. This cannot go on.

This should be grounds for immediate expulsion. You get summoned by the Minister, and immediately lie to their face, then repeat it to the media? You can’t maintain a diplomatic relationship with ambassador, or country, that has such disdain for you that they make up a lie this sloppy.

Israel believes it can intimidate the entire world! They also think they can gaslight everyone! We can’t allow them too! Canada and the world need to call out what they are doing, and take action against them!

This is a country where the Minister of national security, Ben Gvir, has openly said that spitting on Christian’s is “an ancient Jewish tradition” and “should not be illegal”.
What would happen to a politician in Canada who openly justifies Jews being spit on? We all know. This man was not only allowed to run, but actually WON an election and just had a trip to Washington.
Interesting how this story, and the fact that thousands of Christian homes have been stolen in the birthplace of Jesus, while basic human rights are denied to non Jews, are never reported on, the stories below are more examples.
