It’s not unfortunate, it’s consequences for your life choices. If you are a vocal dumbass, whose beliefs have real world negative effects on others, then people have every right to not want anything to do with you. Tough shit.

It’s amazing to me when people say others don’t want to work with them due to their support of a man who is busy gleefully destroying their country.

Unfortunate? It’s exactly what you deserve.
Have fun making movies with Kirk Cameron, Kevin Sorbo, Scott Baio, and Gina Carano that virtually nobody will watch

Look who is facing the consequences of their own actions… Let me ask you buddy, was it all worth it at least? Enjoy being a forever D-list celebrity. No real studio will ever call you again. You brought this on yourself boo…

I’m so tired of Trumpers acting like they’re being oppressed 🙄
I’m sure that supporting a man who is destroying the country and casting doubt on life saving medical technology probably hurt his career. But I also think the fact that his last couple of films were major flops probably had something to do with this as well.

He chose to support the same guy the KKK supported. He chose to back the candidate who calls woman ugly names, sues media that doesn’t kiss his boots and takes credit for everyone else’s achievements. He chose this and he gets the consequences.

He had such great career vibes leading up to and including the released Shazam movie and then he opened his yapper too much. Ouch! Three cheers for the consequences of one’s actions!

His comments about Gavin Creel did a lot of damage. I wasn’t familiar with Gavin’s work, but after his death, I became very aware that he was very talented and extremely popular in the Broadway community with a lot of friends. So, he could forget about theater work.
He’s also a so-so actor. He was well cast on ‚Chuck‘, but a moderately successful TV series and being popular at conventions will only get you so far. All the people complaining about losing work because of their political beliefs weren’t huge stars to begin with. If I’m casting a series or film, I’d be inclined to cast the actor who brings less drama, unless they are ridiculously talented and/or can improve the chances of my show/film being a hit.

Vaccine skeptics are irredeemable, sorry. They act like it’s some simple difference of opinion and everyone else just needs to learn to get along! No, your ignorant ideology spreads death and misery to innocent people and I’m tired of acting like these people shouldn’t be complete and utter pariahs in our society.

I mean, i liked Chuck back in the day, and was a big fan of Shazam! Then I saw him working hard to elect a guy whose policies have had actual, tangible negative consequences for my family. I’m going to put him in the same category as Kevin Sorbo and Craig Nelson, and just not consume his products. I’m sure I’m not alone.
Why would a producer add a divisive figure when they can choose anyone else? I guess I’ll call this the Elon Musk effect, a cousin of the Barbara Streisand effect.
Edit: He added, „I knew that was probably going to happen. I didn’t make this decision blindly or casually.“
Dude knew what would come, so even less reason to feel bad for him.
