I’m not sure that matters. The NDP are in a position where they need to carve out enough reasonably secure NDP ridings that they can easily achieve official party status. Winning Government isn’t simply a stretch, it’s a leap.

How the NDP would lead the country isn’t going to be on the minds of many would-be NDP future NDP voters, but instead whether the NDP would be effective in presenting their concerns to Parliament.
