I still can’t believe how much money our stupid Coast Guard wasted on a “rescue” operation after being told day 1 the Navy heard the thing implode and ignoring common sense that said losing two systems that were physically and electrically separate (comms + manuevering) could only mean a hull loss.
Kind of validates the disdain the other service branches have for them at times
