      I’ve read higher numbers. 20%.

      Anyone stands a risk of being put in jail for 2 weeks over facebook posts, and then returned. Many scientists have experienced that. My wife went to the US many times, skipped it now. To be honest, I have never wanted to go there.

      Good. Maybe this will finally force Republicans to understand that America was built on the backs of immigrants and sustained by the interest (and money) of tourists. You can’t keep pushing xenophobia, isolationism, and nationalist chest-puffing without consequences. Being the self-proclaimed “greatest nation on Earth” while the rest of the world watches in disbelief isn’t a flex—it’s a warning sign.

      I’ve already settled at probably being done with the US. Even if you elect a Democrat trifecta I would wait and see if you reelect that president and what they did to fix the damage in your country and with your allies, by then I’ll be in my late 40s.

      That number appears low. Canadian vehicle traffic alone is down 50% in our area. Canadian airlines are cancelling routes altogether.

      I keep seeing stuff that says there isn’t any real impact or it’s just Canada. Everybody else is steady. It seems insane to think there hasn’t been impact from anyplace outside of Canada.

      7% might be the folks that have to cancel well in advance to avoid cancellation costs. I mean, if you really wanna make a statement, you cancel at the last possible moment.

      I’m interested to what our beach towns look like this summer because we all always had massive amounts of Europeans come here to work and I seriously doubt they’ll be willing to come here this year and I don’t blame them or recommend anyone come here right now. This is going to affect us in ways that can’t be predicted.

      7% so far. I’d bet there is a big gap between people coming on trips that were already paid for, and people planning new trips.

      Saw somewhere that Canada flights to the US had dropped off by 70%. That’s only air travel. Imagine what the rest is like.

      I’m a citizen but as a trans person I sure as shit don’t feel very safe flying now and our old vacation spots texas, Florida and Georgia are no go zones for my family now
      I don’t blame anyone for avoiding the US with what has been happening to foreigners
