Thats like asking them if they know what the Bible says.
Jasmine Crockett is simply the best.
Just asking… think an AOC/Crockett ticket would succeed?
Edit: and if you’re saying, for example, AOC w/o, then who would be the other person? People say they would be up for it, but who’s the other person?
If your voters don’t know what’s in the constitution, why should you?! I love our democracy, but I am more and more open to a college degree being a requirement to vote.
Edit – or at least a civics exam
It seems her and AOC are the only law makers who know how to do their jobs
The GOP needs to learn that if migrants don’t have due process then nobody has due process.
This isn’t just an attack on migrants rights, this is an attack on anyone’s right to due process within the jurisdiction of the United States.
I would vote for Jasmine Crockett for god. I would love to see her in the White House tossing her hair back with her manicured hands. A girl can dream.
> Kiley pushed back, asserting that the Supreme Court had ruled due process to be a „context-dependent inquiry.“
Anyone know what’s being referred to here? I can’t find references online easily for this, and I’m even open to reading conservative conspiracy theories on it.
The *sole* value of conservatism is respect for and obedience to [one’s perception of] traditionally established hierarchy, and hierarchy dictates that those on top (in-groups) are rightfully idolized and receive privileges, credibility, and resources, while those on the bottom (out-groups) are demonized/dehumanized and/or bound by restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources.
To them, the second-greatest injustice imaginable is for those [they perceive to be] on the bottom [of social hierarchy] to have access to the rights, credibility, and resources reserved for those on top. The first greatest injustice is for those on top to be bound by the restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources reserved for those on the bottom.
Conservatives absolutely need an underclass [for society] to demonize and dehumanize in order to maintain [their] hierarchy, and every single one of their policies and rhetoric work to do exactly that. „Know your place“ is their mantra.
How do you know for sure if they’re an immigrant or not without due pro… ooh I get it now.
Love Jasmine Crockett. The headline is a little misleading though, it was Rep. Parmila Jayapal who had the quip on submitting the Constitution to the committee (specifically the fifth amendment). But they were pretty much saying the same thing.
Republicans really can’t comprehend the constitution covers noncitizens. And those that do absolutely hate the fact
“Yes” – Justice Scalia
I hope it pisses the old white fuckers off to the point of heart attack that a young black woman knows more about their job they do.
Attn. – IMMINENT DANGER: The U.S. federal budget bill the GOP is pushing TODAY erodes the judiciary’s power, facilitating their dictatorship. This will affect the whole world.

Seize his assets. He’s committed crimes against the people. We should demand a redress of grievances regarding his actions. We should hold him in Habeas Corpus to have to explain why WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are in the situation he created.
