    1. This video captures the aftermath of a firefight between a Ukrainian recon team and a Russian artillery/logistics unit. Ukrainian forces include two BRDM-2s with infantry support. The initial engagement isn’t shown — a commandeered Russian civilian(?) vehicle is already on fire when the footage begins.

      As the first BRDM stops, Ukrainian troops dismount and begin crossing the road before coming under fire. At least two casualties are visible. The second BRDM suppresses the Russian position in defilade and pushes forward toward the damaged BRDM — likely to recover wounded or stranded soldiers. Some Ukrainian infantry are seen taking cover in the opposite defilade across the road.

      At the 4:30 mark, you can make out at least two, possibly three Ukrainian military vehicles staged nearby — one in the highway, one in the left-side field, and one in the right tree line behind the railroad tracks.

      The video ends as a CNN news crew arrives and begins filming the scene. Russian towed artillery and logistics trucks remain abandoned, and the bodies of at least two Russian soldiers are visible. Ukrainian troops are seen moving around and occupying fighting positions.

      **Confirmed losses** *(based on OSINT and geolocation in the days/weeks following — not part of the broader Kherson counteroffensive):*

      * **Russian:** 2 commandeered civilian(?) vehicles, 2 BTR-Ds, 2 trucks (unknown make/model), 2 towed artillery pieces, 2+ KIA confirmed, likely more KIA/WIA.
      * **Ukrainian:** 1 damaged BRDM-2, 3 T-64BV tanks, 1 BTR-70, and likely multiple KIA/WIA.

      Ukrainian recon team hits a vulnerable RU artillery position — gets caught in a brief but violent engagement. Tactical win, but not without cost.
