Constructive criticism is a way of life.
That’s nuts. She was insanely good in that role.
Is there going to be another season?
Bet they are the same person who said ‘yes, these are the scripts we’re gonna shoot with, these changes to the story? ART!’ ::snorts a rail::
How did she get the job then if they didn’t think she could act?

She was my favorite parts of the show. Inlike the older characters but felt like she could have had a bit more time in the series overall.
Literally everyone on set wants the show they are on to succeed. If the higher ups were telling her that, it wasn’t to shit on her, it was to try and help her succeed.
It is also way better to address problems early on than after you’ve shot half the season.
Source: 15+ years of television experience including on failed shows where the problems were obvious from the first day of filming, yet nobody addressed them until it was too late.
I thought she was great and perfect for the role.
She was brilliant in an Aussie tv series called upright with Tim Minchin.
Also it’s not uncommon for people to use acting coaches on projects, especially younger actors
I sincerely thought she was the best thing on the show.
So did she use the coach? I don’t see a problem for a new actor on a major production getting some help, yah a bit insulting but there is a lot of money and a lot of jobs behind the show, and you’re the lead. She was one the best performances in the show.
