      St Louis is a blue dot in a red state, and the storms did the most damage in majority-black neighborhoods. Trump will either do nothing or will wait two months to do anything, like he did to Arkansas.

      I’m glad these Secretaries have enough fortitude to show up to a Senate hearing and glad to see Senators from red states have some issues with these dweebs – that they also approved to be in these positions.

      We are going to see a lot of this in the coming years. States are going to have to fend for themselves. Even full red Trump states are getting the cold shoulder for FEMA and other federal funds. Elections have consequences was what people were told after Trump got three SCOTUS picks in his first term. Same applies here. No federal funding for you or anyone else.

      As a St. Louis resident, I can assure you that the areas affected went very against Trump in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections.

      Gop when California is burning,“We don’t care.“ Destroy FEMA. Red States get hit horribly and want assistance, but FEMA has no real leadership. The funding was also cut. People from the agency are being fired, resigned or put in for retirement.
