      Trump and Putin spoke for around two hours in what was seen in Europe as an opportunity for the U.S. to pressure Putin into agreeing to a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine or face new sanctions.

      However, in a follow-up conference call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, and Finland, Trump stated that Putin had only agreed to discuss a ceasefire, and that the U.S. would not be involved in the negotiations.

      European leaders on the call were reportedly “surprised” by how willing the U.S. president appeared to be to abandon the idea of trying to broker a deal to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

      If they are so freaked out, they should say it to the world, not behind closed doors, the way the GOP does. If enough people would stand up to this miscreant, he would lose a lot of his „power“ he thinks he has. Words without backup have no meaning, they are just words.

      Please tell us again how the Afghan withdrawal was the worst negotiating ever. Please tell us that after years of claiming he holds the key to end this war, that walking away and letting thousands more get killed is the way Jesus would do it. Or maybe he just has too much on his plate starting a war in his own country because his senility and ego are more important than integrity and self respect

      When the criminal clown was voted back into office, the USA, our reputation and global status was forever changed. The actions and behavior of the current administration has destroyed the economy and any and all trust and respect from the entire world. Much of this is not repairable. The ignorance and arrogance that created the situation for this to happen will also make it impossible to recover. The American experiment is over, toppled by an orange criminal who uses bully tactics and lies to lead his cult of the ignorant fueled by hatred.

      I think the US is heading for a future where there are only rich and poor. There will be hardly room for ppl to rise up from poverty. Its like they are creating more poor ppl to be trapped in poverty. Do it with a slope slow enough for ppl to be to apahtetic to rebel and theyll just accpet the worsening conditions. Its not even that far away. These ppl will be desparate and taken advantage off on a massive scale. The irony is that they voted for it. They do not know what theyre getting into (cutting education is a key step) but they know they want it.
