Love and hate the parking in Cyprus. Sometimes I wish I could chuck my car on the footpath right in front of where I need to go 😂

it’s a school drop off. What do you expect? No one is there for more than 10-12 minutes.

99% of kids are driven and picked up from school in a car just like celebrities.

I have a feeling Cyprus is just a giant parking lot

Dude, it’s elementary kids. They picking up their kids from school.. what do you expect?? No parent will leave kids walk unattended and potentially cross roads.

I’m all for kids’ safety — that’s the number one priority, no doubt about it! But what really surprises me in Cyprus is the philosophy behind most parking habits: the goal seems to be stopping as close as physically possible to your destination. Apparently, even a few extra meters of walking is considered an unnecessary hardship.
Just today, I heard this gem from a friend’s child:
“I don’t need to do sports — I already walk every day… from my dad’s car to the school gate!”
Well, there you have it — physical activity, Cypriot edition 😁

You should have already know by now that peak cypriot driving is the most selfish, inconsiderate kinda driving ever. Tis like riding Donkeys around.
