When THR asked about the quote and if his mind had been changed — since he’s currently 62 — Cruise noted, “I actually said I’m going to make movies into my 80s; actually, I’m going to make them into my 100s.”

      I feel like you’re in a good enough place professionally that we don’t need L Ron Hubbard involved.

      Tom Cruise the actor is a genuine treasure. I don’t think I’ve ever left one of his films disappointed.

      I can’t imagine an “old” Tom Cruise, like he’s aging of course but an elderly Tom just seems incomprehensible in my mind.

      His stunts when he’s 100 will be getting from his bed to the bathroom before he pisses his pants

      Only way he can stay close to the top of Scientology so he can take the reins when Miscavige goes.

      I’m a guy, mid to late 40s. I’m tired of the action, stunts, fight scenes, the forced character tension. It gets boring. I want a good story.

      Tom cruise has a talent for picking very good roles. I love his scifi stuff. He’s a fantastic actor.

      Can I separate the artist from the art? Yes, i can. Tbh everybody who’s been on set with him says he’s an amazing guy.

      Same reason my friend works 80+ hours a week. If he stops, he will have to deal with mortality and existential crisis.
