For student visa, from: entry date ; till: expected graduation end date. Later for job purpose you can mention dauerhaft.
the Aufenthaltstitel for student visa can only be timely limited. At the moment you dont meet the requirements for permanent residence permit (at least from what you’ve shared). After your study you can apply for another Aufenthaltstitel for work. If you meet the requirements for Niederlassungserlaubnis you apply for permanent stay.
Many forms have this weird section.
We have a similar-ish part.
The best would be:
– temporary (Aufenthaltserlaubnis)
– permanent (Niederlassungserlaubnis)
I always found this question (not yours of course) to be moronic af. Someone dishonest with the intention to settle permanently will never say that they’ll stay forever.
I’d put until „end of studies“ or „Ende des Studiums“
You need to put up to the end of the 3 years, you can’t tick *dauerhaft*.
The question itself isn’t really accurate imo. I think they should instead ask, how long your visa should last or how long you plan to do <reason for visa extension>.
Of course at the end of the day you want to stay permanently after your studies and everything is over, but that’s not the information they want from you right now.
