What, America indulges in „middle-class welfare“? With people staggering under heavy debt just to go to college, having a hard time then finding jobs, and with a shortage of housing?

The people we are giving „welfare“ to are the wealthy! Why aren’t they taxed higher?

      > If Trump wants the world to keep buying his debt, he might be advised to stop punching the world in the face.

It’s sad, the average Republican is not educated enough to read and understand this article.

    4. America is being run by a terrorist cult, and the world should act accordingly.

The entire world needs to boycott all US made products, eliminate all trade with the US wherever possible, eliminate all travel to the US. The world needs to choke out the Orange Menace. It’s sad that innocent Americans will suffer.

    6. I think the best thing the world could do is collectively agree that the US doesn’t exist. Treat it like it’s a blank spot on the map

America made itself rich by forcefully inserting itself in every aspects of the World’s economy :

Forcing the world to accept the American Dollar as the reserve currency and to buy and sell using the USD.

Buy playing „World police“ to make sure no rogue country could stop the trade gravy train fattening the American economy.

By using its military to prevent the spread of Communism which would have threatened the global trade which was making America rich.

By removing any world leader who threatened to trade outside the „Pax Americana“ system…

It permanently maintains the largest armed force in the world precisely to enforce its trade policies on any country, anywhere in the world and because each dollar spent on its military generates a much larger amount in trade.

Considering the fact that when I worked in manufacturing when he launched his last trade dispute in 2018 and I lost my job, eye for an eye bitch. I’m shopping Canadian.

As an Australian, the quickest and easiest way to permanently ruin your so called „closest friend/ally/partnership“ or whatever is to treat us like some kind of hostile entity and tariff us like we’re an enemy nation. I mean, a few months in to this presidency and we’re already reconsidering our entire place in the globe.

      They obviously don’t

However America’s consumption levels aren’t replaceable and they can’t just find alternative countries to consume many if not most of their goods. Alot of companies will go under in other countries because of those tariffs (we’ve already seen it in the board game industry)

The savings of citizens and the government are being robbed by price gouging of healthcare, education and rent. A lot of the military budget goes to veteran healthcare and education. This also makes US companies uncompetitive – lower salaries mean their employees can’t afford to live, higher salaries mean they can’t sell their products.

I agree the solution would be to lower the deficit and the debt level. But this article shows zero understanding of how to do that. The trump bashing is still amusing, though.

    12. For the moment, i see only countries bow down to Trump : UK and the stupid deal, stupid middle east monarchy giving all their savings to Trump… And i guess the next step is Europe.
