      My employer fired all of us, told unemployment we quit so we couldn’t claim and got half a million dollar in loans, kept it for themselves.

      The real kicker, I looked on the PPP website. Turned him in, of course, but they didn’t have to repay the loan.

      Some of the employees had worked there for ten years. They didn’t care.

      There **was** rampant fraud but the feds had to burn cash to keep the economy afloat.

    5. The crazy part is that it would have made its way to them even if every cent originally went to the working class. They just wanted it immediately because there is no amount of money that is enough for them.

      Hey, remember when Democrats literally said this was going to happen because the trump admin didn’t want to create any substantive way to vet these companies or ensure compliance–because the grift was the point? I do.
