It wasn’t in that article, but another article I saw mentioned the arrested men had connections to a high profile public figure

Can’t wait for the ITV show with Martin Freeman as Keir Starmer.

What’s more likely?
A: Russia tried using Ukrainian spies armed with 99p lighter fluid from B and M to try and kill the the prime minister of the United kingdom.
B: The „aspiring male model“ worked the streets of London and decided for some reason to try get back at a „client“.
A, leaves more questions than answers. Why would the Russians want Keirs old car burning out? Why would russia with its history of using chemical/biological weapons and trained KGB agents decide that this time they would just give someone a fiver and tell them to pick some stuff up from B&M?
B, would explain why and how he knew the addresses and why he targeted his old car if that was what he used to get picked up in.

Liberals: people on the right are conspiracy theorists
Also liberals: I have no evidence whatsoever to support my claim, but the Russian government are 100% responsible for this

What Putin did in Lithuania was pay teenagers to set fire to an Ikea store and in Poland, to a couple of supermarkets. They did not know they were working for the Russian intelligence services. This is their idea of hybrid warfare. I bet it transpire these people don’t even know whose car or house they set fire too, they were just paid to do it.
