We can’t get more invested into such an American-dependent option for such an important asset.
The Saab Gripen proposal met all the FFCP requirements, will be built in Canada, and transfers technical data & source code (greater Canadian control.)
I believe their offer still stands – Canada could award contract tomorrow and the Canadian sub-contractor would start tooling and staffing up the day after.
