Business gets messy when you have to deal with a malignant narcissistic sociopathic grifter. Best thing to do is to protect yourself your country and don’t engage in any deal making because it’s not worth the paper that it’s printed on
You were. You were doing really well on that front too.
The ideologues and Trump took over and are fucking it all up by scamming people, countries and companies To make wealthy people richer and Trump and his people wealthier.
Turns out, when you fire the staff that does the legwork for negotiations, going through line after line of items, subitems, quotas, regional economic and leave it all in the hands of 2-4 people, all of whom can be overridden by the president, yeah, it’s going to be messy, slow and inefficient.
But MAGA loves DOGE, so what can you do?

What do these people think? That once Trump is gone that everything will go back to before and Canada will be all trustworthy of the US?
All the experts agree: Once you destroy trust, it’s VERY hard to build it back. Most of them are talking about decades (yes, with an „s“) for repairing that betrayal because that is exactly what it is: betrayal.
Maybe if Trump is removed from office and sent to prison along with all the rest of his enablers. So long as there is no rule of law, doing business doesn’t make sense. Contracts are worthless without a trustworthy legal system.
