We’re proud of Parg and the exposure for Armenia — but it’s telling that our Eurovision entry had zero Armenian language or melodies. That’s what cultural colonization and Western gatekeeping look like in real time. Songs like “Prayer” by Flora Bichakhchyan found a beautiful and fresh way to blend Armenian language and melodies with English, showing you can be modern without erasing your roots — but of course, it wasn’t chosen. Maybe next time we can show the world what makes us unique, not just what makes us fit in. ❤️💙🧡

    2. Wow that was really good, can’t imagine how difficult it is to sing while running on a treadmill. Wasn’t expecting such a genre from us, thought it was Germany or something.

Also can’t wait for some of the people to shame the guy for Armenians values or something, or does that only apply to the women singers?
