>Final Destination Bloodlines is already causing trouble before it has even hit screens, as it plays the most brutal prank on some unsuspecting movie-goers.
>In celebration of Mother’s Day in the US, Warner Bros. set up a special screening of an upcoming romantic comedy called Love at the Sky View, where adults could bring their mothers along to. The catch is, the movie Love at the Sky View does not exist, and instead, the studio showed the newest Final Destination movie to the unwitting mothers. And as you can imagine, the moms were not best pleased.
>Luckily for us, the studio decided to film the ordeal and post it to the official Final Destination Bloodlines Twitter page. In the clip, which you can watch below, the moms are so excited to see the new rom-com, but their smiling faces turn to screams of terror when they witness the sixth installment in the bloody franchise. „He tricked me,“ said one mother, pointing to her son, while another added, „It was great, I really loved this one.“
Clickbait is fucking stupid

I’m honestly impressed… Enough people all the way through that decision tree thought the joke was worth the views.
Unsatisfied with pulling the same prank on people going to a different horror film… Needing to one-up themselves — thinking how funny for them it’ll be to watch the trauma! It would be great if we can get footage of a mom and her daughter, having recently reconciled after going through a terrible trauma. They go to the movies for a simple escape, and we can put them right back in that mindset! The Mom will bring it up constantly and blame the kid, reinforcing the kid’s esteem issues!
It’ll be just like the horrible things we write in the movie for fun, but real!!! Final Destination, by Lars von Trier and Werner Herzog!

I mean… they knew they were being filmed while watching this. Nice little PR stunt but not unsuspecting.
