tldr; Buyers spent over $140 million on the $TRUMP meme coin for a chance to attend an ‚intimate dinner‘ with Donald Trump. The coin, linked to Trump-owned companies, saw a value surge after announcing the top 220 holders by May 12 would receive dinner invites. The top spender reportedly paid $16.4 million. Concerns have been raised about the coin’s financial ties to Trump and the anonymity of its holders. The dinner is set for May 22 at Trump National Golf Club, with top holders receiving VIP access.

    2. The digital currency got a big boost when it announced on April 23 that the top 220 holders of the currency as of May 12 would receive a special invitation to a dinner with the president.

In turn, the announcement helped to raise the value of the coin over 40% more than before, reversing its 88% drop a few weeks prior.

In a bid to be a top holder, people spent large sums of money, from $53,500 to as much as $16.4 million, to nab themselves an invite to the exclusive dinner, according to Inca Digital’s analysis. It was announced on May 12 that the biggest holder was an account named Sun VIP.

    3. Doubting they all tried to get dinner with Trump. My guess is a lot bought speculating that others who wanted dinner would drive the price up and they could sell for a profit

    4. The news first said 500k than 1.5 million now 140 million…. I still can’t believe people watch or read mainstream media anymore. What’s the point if they don’t source and everything is just propaganda

No way any pleb would win this invite, it would be someone with whom would Trump like to discuss some bribe. If I magically found such invite in my mail, I’d just sell it to some smelliest deplorable i could find.

The most incredible Big Mac…some say the best Big Mac of all time…it’ll be yuuuge…better than Joe Bidens Big Mac!

    8. Not worth it, have a nice dinner with your parents instead, they deserve more of your time and attention than he does.

I’m sure the real top owners won’t want to reveal themselves.

Hell, they probably can’t even legally enter the USA

Trump will for sure tell the dinner attendees to buy certain coins in advance during the dinner. If i have 140millions, i would have spend it all to get my ass to that dinner. And without a doubt leverage to max once trump give me the ticker.

Rich people gonna just get richer, sigh.
