      I really hope Carney keeps Nathaniel Erskine-Smith in cabinet. He’s doing fine as Housing Minister so far and needs to finish the job. Nate is an asset and it was a mistake that Trudeau kept him out of cabinet for so long.

      Carney also needs balance in his cabinet, where NES can provide a different perspective. He leans more left than the average Liberal, but that voice could help keep Carney’s government grounded when it comes to progressive issues. Keeping NES out of cabinet would just return the Maverick.

      I think we will probably see around 12 of the „Trudeau“ ministers left while the rest would be entirely new (i.e., did not hold a cabinet position with Trudeau).

      I think the 12 would be: LeBlanc, Champagne (but not in Finance), Joly (but not in Foreign Affairs), Anand, Fraser, Freeland, Guilbeault, Anandasangaree, Hajdu, Thompson, Bendayan, McGuinty
