      Traders from the Indian subcontinent on the Silk Road have a history in Baku, like Multanı karvansarası. IIRC Hindu pilgrims also came to Ateshgah of Baku for the fires.

      It might not be much Indian history there, but I wouldn’t say that it’s non-existent.

      Hey guys, I joined the sub after an incredible trip to Azerbaijan last month. I loved everything about the country, the people, the culture, the overall experience. However, some of the comments in this thread really disturbed me due to the intense hate some express toward Indians. It’s frustrating to see an entire nation or its people generalized based on the actions of a few. Even if “a few” translates to large numbers because of population size, it still doesn’t reflect the majority’s perspective.

      I can’t comment on ur history, that’s ur own thing.
      But as a tourist in your country, indeed Indians are one of the largest tourist groups here.
      I’d even say I feel like I’m one out of ten european tourists, if we exclude Russians. 😀

      Pakistan government has admitted to carrying out the previous 2019 terrorist attack in India but are insisting that this time around they don’t have anything to do with the terrorists. They have a long history of involvement with terror attacks on India. After the first 9 locations were bombed by India, a known terrorist came out and stated that 21 of his family and terrorist colleagues were killed in the strike. Later, a state funeral was held in their honor. Pakistan took the photo of one innocent killed in this strike and tried to make it look like India bombed civilians.

      It is amply clear that Pakistan is doing a lot of terroristic stuff. The situation is nothing like Israel Palestine. Pakistan is a country run by a corrupt Army cooperates with terrorists.

      If you’re in support of Pakistan, that’s your choice, but you should be aware of what you’re supporting.
