Won by one vote! That’s not going to quell the CPC’s (not so) subtle suggestion of vote tampering I’m sure.

That’s insanity. Has this ever happened anywhere else?
Edit: I was referring to a win by one vote!

So that puts Liberals at 170 now officially?

Is there going to be another recount? I feel that margin is so close that there’s going to be some court case or another.

So, considering we literally got a one vote difference here, what exactly is the policy if there’s a tie?
As well, I never thought I’d see a one vote difference in my life. I love that I can use this as a smug counter argument to people who don’t vote now.

When counting write-in ballots, what qualifies as a valid ballot vs invalid vote.
I known you can’t write down the party name. However what about spelling, do you write down the first initial?
In Terrbonne you have Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagne and Tatiana Auguste.
Are Nathalie Sinclair or Nathalie Desgagne valid votes?

So if the liberals win this riding and put May as speaker, they would just need to get one person from another party to join them for a majority? That seems very plausible no?
