That implies these briefings still occur, but the president has no clue what is being discussed, and doesn’t care. The whole thing is unnerving.

If I were in intelligence, this is the objective I would try to achieve. Bore him to the point that he no longer listens and then he can’t give away information to the enemies he doesn’t know about. Also, when he completely ignores a situation and it gets him in trouble but we did our best…oh well.
Never has, never will. He might want updates on the front line when the time comes, but only when it is advancing, not when Biden caused losses again.

There’s a joke in here but I’m too tired to find it.
I do recall, however, that his last „administration“ used to have to really dumb down the information used for the briefings that he *would* take, using favorable newspaper articles, pictures, bullet points, etc..
They would literally create a presentation for a 1st grader. Yes, I know he’s stupid as hell and can’t read, but also:
* a) He’s dumb, and
* b) He’s dumb, and
* c) He’s dumb.
