Surprised that facial hair didn’t cause a rebellion tbh.

Poor lad, only got 29% pay rise last year, of course he needs to be compensated by the increase in bonuses.
Similar to MPs they always quote the independent body’s recommendation on their pay.
Not in favor of deregulation but how independent are these bodies really if they’re giving out such over the odds recommendations.

He has openly said that his pay is unjustified. You all make it sound like he is some villain that thinks he’s hard done by.
He’s a cunt who’s the head of a company of cunts. British Gas have been trading off of their famous name while being unbelievably shit for years now.
Why are they paid these ridiculous sums? Nobody needs that salary, absolute disgrace, system needs a whole revamp!
This kind of nonsense needs to stop. I’m sorry, but as just one human being no matter how good you are, you cannot be worth so much many more multiples of the workers on the front line. Not unless CEOs possess some kind of god like superpowers.

It’s been over 2 years since ofgem started its investigation into British Gas for their scummy behaviour on PPM installations for vulnerable households… and nothing…
While his company is not popular – out of all the executives out there who have been absolutely raking it in, this is the only one I’ve seen that actually went on the news and said that their pay was unjustifiable and decided by a committee of others.
I hope this entire sector faces a reckoning of nationalisation and competent regulation one day. But I find it difficult to dislike him as an individual, more just complicated thoughts about our national direction. He’s been pretty transparent about his position and it’s the fault of government for allowing this to go on.
I fucking DESPISE British Gas.
I moved into a British Gas property over 2 months ago. They are still incapable of setting up a direct debit for the gas and electric, and allowing me to log on and check my account and submit readings.
I’ve called them 10+ times and been promised they’ll fix the issue, I’ll get a callback, or the phone just goes dead.
I have an unresolved complaint with which the case handler takes 5 days to email me and ignores my problem or asks me to call them to sort it out. I’ve tried calling you so many times, you useless pricks!
