    1. As long as I live, I will never be able to truly understand immigrants voting for this man. It’s like me telling you I’m going to punch you in the face, and then acting surprised when I do it. I straight up told you I was going to punch you in the face. Did you not believe me after you just watched me punch 50 people in the face before I got to you?

      >Loisate, who faults Trump and his immigration policies for Kostenyuk’s two-month detention, says her partner was a Trump supporter, telling KUOW: „You should see his garage, there’s nothing but **Trump flags everywhere and posters everywhere**. I took them all down out of the yard. I’m not happy about it at all.“

      >She said he was specifically supportive of the president’s immigration policies, saying „he’s against people coming in illegally.“

      >Kostenyuk was convicted in 2018 o**f two felony theft charges involving a stolen television and tools that he later pawned**. He pleaded guilty, was ordered to pay restitution, served six days in jail and received three years of probation, according to KUOW.

Kostenvuk had 2 felony theft convictions within the last 7 years. He doesn’t belong in the US.

His wife finally took down the Trump flags and posters. Good!

Did the immigrant community really think the orange xenophobe wouldn’t come for them?

    4. So many people didn’t realize when he says criminals, he means anyone that isn’t white.

Otherwise he would deport himself for having 34 felony counts and being found criminally liable for sexual assault. On top of all the fraud he was found guilty of before he even came into politics.

Getting yourself disappeared to own the libs.

I wonder if he’s tired of winning yet?

They lived under the delusion that their *legal immigrant* status would buy them immunity from Trump’s xenophobia, forgetting he doesn’t discriminate when it comes to deportations. Their *I got mine, screw you* strategy backfired spectacularly, and now reality is knocking at the door with ICE.

    7. Traditional-Win-3368 on

Look, I hate the lawlessness by which ICE is currently operating, but this doesn’t seem to be one of those cases. Under current law, felonies involving “moral turpitude”, eg. theft, can result in the revocation of a green card. He has two felony theft convictions and the revocation of his green card is within the law.

    8. My friend’s mom immigrated in the 70s and got a green card after she got married. She has not bothered to take the citizenship test ever since. And she’s Pro-Trump, as well. It is baffling. Her kids are urging her to schedule her test ASAP bc of instances like this, they’re worried she might get detained next time she travels internationally and she just…kinda waves her hand at it. I do NOT get it.

Omg, this is hilarious. First of all, why would any immigrant support trump??? Secondly, why would a **Ukrainian** immigrant support trump?!!

      What a hypocrite:

      >She said he was specifically supportive of the president’s immigration policies, saying „he’s against people coming in illegally.“

      >Kostenyuk was convicted in 2018 of two felony theft charges involving a stolen television and tools that he later pawned. He pleaded guilty, was ordered to pay restitution, served six days in jail and received three years of probation, according to KUOW.

So he wants illegal immigrants to be punished, yet he himself committed crimes. And of course, he supports a criminal president. Lol.

Thankfully his girlfriend is able to see the light:

      >Loisate, who faults Trump and his immigration policies for Kostenyuk’s two-month detention, says her partner was a Trump supporter, telling KUOW: „You should see his garage, there’s nothing but Trump flags everywhere and posters everywhere. I took them all down out of the yard. I’m not happy about it at all.“

    10. Not sympathetic – guarantee this guy had no problem with any of the other deportations and thought it would just be brown people impacted.

    11. This is great because:

      * a Trump supporter is gone
      * ice was busy with this mf instead of bothering good people

That’s great news for him! He must have been really struggling to buy a ticket to lobby so hard for a freebie!

    13. RealNotFake on

See ya buddy, have fun in CECOT.

Always remember – anyone who voted for Trump had no problem with this exact thing happening to *other people*

    14. toxiccortex on

I really don’t give a shit about pro Trumper’s that are detained by ice. We’re gonna continue to hear about more and more of these idiots. That’s their fucking problem.

    15. Well. He did have 2 felony theft charges.

The same felony charges that will get you deported under the newly passed Lincoln Riley Act !!

Clearly, this person doesn’t know he is a criminal himself. Consequently, subject to deportation

Saying „I told you so“ doesn’t do enough!!!

    16. i_am_here_again on

The craziest part of this story is that ICE contacted him through FB marketplace under the guise of a purchase of one of his sheds and that is how he got picked up. Dude is still a Trump supporter too.

    17. HallucinogenicFish on

      Leopards getting obese by now.

      > The couple have two sons and live outside of Spokane, Washington, where they make and sell backyard sheds and chicken coops. In mid-February, some Facebook users had messaged and inquired about seeing sample coops.

      > However, when those individuals arrived, they turned out to be undercover ICE officials

WTF is this Scooby Doo shit?

    18. ErusTenebre on

Some small part of me feels bad for this individual – no one should be getting deported to a country they aren’t from, without due process, and without the opportunity to gain legal status (our system for this is a fucked up mess).

The other part of me wants to just say, „Good. You get what you wished for.“

It’d be one thing for people to be fooled by Trump in 2015 (I don’t personally get it, the man is vile), but at this point? After immigrant imprisonment at the border, after family separation, after COVID, after Jan 6th, after all the trials, after all the shit he’s said? Yeah, no fucking sympathy, empathy, patience, understanding, or goodwill from me.

    19. Aren’t gren card holders permanent residents (landed immigrants) who filed years worth of paperwork?

    20. VP_of_Lasers on

ICE deporting Trump supporters is actually the only good thing they do. Hope this dumb dumb ends up in CECOT.

    21. Sure_Quality5354 on

I hate to say it but at the end of the day, it ALWAYS comes down to stupidity and selfishness with these people. They never think a step beyond „this will make me feel good in the moment“. And if it starts happening to other people they say „ok its happening but its not happening to ME“. Thats all it is.

    22. So first of all, this guy is a twat for being a Trump supporter. Let’s get that out of the way.

However, that being said, it’s so scary that you can be kidnapped by ICE over crimes that you committed years ago and ALREADY PAID via the court of law.

So even though he’s already paid for the crime, that didn’t seem to matter. He was still kidnapped.

It really goes to show just how racist this whole thing is. It implies that only immigrants get severely punished for committing crimes, or makes it seem like only immigrants are capable of crime.

Screw this guy, but also screw Trump and his entire gang.

    23. Jfc, Ukrainian refugee with felony convictions supports Trump because of his anti-immigrant policies…..but is surprised to be swept up in the arrest and removal process. The dumbest timeline.

How are there so many Trump supporters who have non-citizen kids or spouses with criminal convictions, or in this their own criminal conviction, who somehow think they are exempt?

    24. I am quite torn when the family of some trunper assholes gets kidnapped.

But the actual trump supporter getting got?

      Pure bliss.
