Laws an punishments dont apply to the 1% even if convicted. Laws and punishments apply to everyone else even if not convicted.

There’s really not a question here. He was convicted of 34 felonies, and those represent an infinitesimal fraction of the crimes he has committed in broad daylight.
Any other human being in this country convicted of the same would have seen at least a year of jail time. Anyone convicted of *all* the crimes Donald Trump has comitted – up to and including inciting a coup against the rightfully elected government of the United States – would be put in a box for the entirety of their natural life.
The only thing that ultimately saved him from this fate was both the complicity of the Republicans in government, who are eternally dependent on his popularity to save their rapidly-collapsing party, and the voters of the United States of America, an electorally significant percentage of whom have proven themselves to be among the most gullible, naive, foolish people on the planet. Voting enthusiastically for a criminal who explicitly grifts from their own pockets.
