To be fair, it looks like the tree took the majority of the explosion there, although I’m sure he’s peppered with shrapnel and there will be a follow-up suicide drone.

I’m trying to understand the reason for thinking that climbing onto a tree would be a good idea.
You’re still visible and only covered from one direction. You’re visible even more for enemy ground troops. If you’re spotted and leave your position you’re slowed down and make an easy target… I could think about it all night long and still understand it.
That’s the most Looney Tunes way to go I’ve seen
That might work in Australia pretending to be a Koala or in China pretending to be a Panda but I don’t think that tactic works in Ukraine haha.
