China is overplaying its hand. They had the chance to exploit trumps actions and pick up the ground America is losing. They just had to wait, be quiet for a few months and not piss off America’s allies.
What do they do? They threaten retaliation on all countries who talk to trump and ramp up efforts to kidnap dissidents in Europe. They are proving themselves no better and arguably worse then trump. Making them more likely to suck it up to America then risk it on them.
