But didn’t the Liberals stop the construction of a pipeline that would’ve made oil production much more profitable?
Alberta has never pumped more oil out of the ground than under Trudeau’s premiership. They’ve got a new pipeline delivered to do it as well, set for first exports in June 2025.
The current Liberal government under Carney has indicated that they would build new opportunities to get their product to overseas markets via the Hudson Bay and renewed talks over Pipeline East.
The Liberal government must be super popular in Alberta.
