      This is accurate. Some have already died, probably hundreds of thousands will die over time.

      As much as we joke about Musk being the shadow president, the accountability for all this horror sits squarely on Stump’s shoulders. Letting him off the hook is exactly what empowers him to do more.

      Bill Gates isn’t accusing Musk, he’s accurately pointing out that USAID cuts will lead to dead children.

An example of instability putting our troops at risk is Yemen. Houthis are launching missiles at commercial traffic and as a result, the US Navy was sent out to protect shipping lanes. One incident almost resulted in one of US Navy’s ships almost getting blown up and it had to activate its last line of defense.

      With so many kids dying, not to mention all the food we used to give out, instability will follow. Where there’s instability there is violence and US troops tend to follow to stabilize regions. The impacts of these cuts will be felt for years if not restored.

      Imagine having a billion dollars, looking around the world at all the struggling people, and asking yourself „How can I get more money out of these people?“ 

      How broken a person would you have to be?

      Issue is, the political organization enacting these policies don’t have the mental capacity for Empathy.

      To Elon, Bill might as well be saying „Tomorrow’s Tuesday“. Can’t feel bad about your actions if you’re incapable of feeling empathy.

      Any idea how much cash Gates donated to Republicans over the past decade?

      While I’d like to be sympathetic to his fears, there isn’t a snowballs chance in hell that no Gates dollars and no Gates cents went into this eventuality.

      It sucks, but in all likelihood he funded this.

      What are you doing about it then, Bill? I don’t see any counter programming efforts for the billions of TikTok videos of hate speech text overlaid onto clips of people doing a smug look at the camera.

      Gates is known for his decades long work (via his charity) on vaccination. He is probably aware that trump, through malice and incompetence, killed hundreds of thousands of Americans from COVID.

      It’s a shame he’s also heavily invested in G4S, G4S, a private security company that helps Israel run prisons at which Palestinian political prisoners (including children) are held without trial and subjected to torture.

      Low key George Bush’s administration of compassionate conservatism saved 27,000,000 lives in Africa through USAID, the only arm of US foreign policy that didn’t come with bombs or bullets. It put the generous and smiling face of America forward to the world.

      And now it’s gutted along with our international prestige.
