      Knowing banks they’ll drop savings interest rates straight away and then take ages to drop mortgage rates…

      Sure they’ll drop rates, then house prices will surge.

      So it’ll be easier to get and pay monthly, but your deposit money won’t be worth as much. This means it’ll be harder to get in the first place and can’t get as much for your money and take longer to save.
