He’s an egomaniac, and I have loved him for 50 years.

After going up in Blue Origin and asked if he was now an astronaut he said something like, “More like an…A…followed by two S’s”

He and Cap’n Crunch were the two Captains I respected as a child.

Happy to see him showing his loyalty to Canada. Unlike certain former Canadian hockey players.

      Boldy going, Shat.

I’m in. Give me poutine, universal healthcare, and a parliamentary system, now! Maybe not in that order.

The fact that someone wrote an article about this statement makes me want to abandon civilization so much more than I’ve thought previously couldn’t of been done.

    5. Wow! Sounds like a win for US citizens, considering where we are right now.

    6. You know what? If that’s what it takes to get competent leadership let’s do it! I’m f’in in.

    7. Seems like an unwise gambit unless you make our votes like 1/25 of a vote. Our couple hundred thousand mooks would vote away their lovely socialist healthcare. Our special brand of stupid would break Canada.

Too big to be one province. Probably the 11th through 20th provinces.

Americans do not deserve Mark Carney to be their government leader.

Americans have voted like idiots and they need to suffer under an idiotic administration in order to have any chance to learn that their idiocy has negative consequences for them. If they suffer and learn, then maybe they will act smarter in the future. Probably not, but maybe.

    10. I said early on when this nonsense started, that I hoped Canada would invade the U.S., and I would be in line to get my (forced) Canadian citizenship!

    11. To me, the best argument in favor of this is that Ontario, CA and Ontario, CA would finally be in the same country. Imagine how much confusion that would prevent!

    12. It’s funny, but to be honest I really, really do not want that many once-Americans voting in Canadian elections. American culture is brittle, polarized, and deeply self-deluded while at the same time being self-congratulatory. You can keep your guns, your racism, your polarization, your incredibly overpowered executive branch, your anti-intellectualism, and your hyper-individualism to yourselves, please.
