The greatest nation in the world will be giving its children 5 pencils for Christmas thanks MAGA .

    2. We desperately need leaders like Pete. The time for Schumer to go has long since passed.

His cult base doesn’t care about the lying…reinforcing their growing anti-Canada opinions and rhetoric. They take this BS on board unquestionably. So frikken sad. If George Orwell were alive today…he’d be spinning in his grave.

Meanwhile, Schumer is happy that we’ve never had a more supportive relationship with Israel.

We hired our congress to fight for us, and uphold the constitution..
our military swears to uphold it as well. We can fight, but it’s their paid job to do this as well.
Sure they control congress but come on… take a page out of Crocketts book. At least say SOMETHING !!
      Do something !

Wow. They must be *rly*worried about Bernie and AOC if mainstream Dems are doing this.

…says the man who could have run for a Governor’s spot, but fucked off to a blue state instead.

The problem for democrats is they’re so divided themselves rn.

Also for someone middle of the road, it’s harder and harder to stay a democrat. I’m just a regular straight white guy. That seems a problem to democrats rn unless I’m reading the room wrong.

    9. Chuck Schumer would rather go sell his book and write strongly worded letters

The party should essentially be hosting fireside chats online where they dumb down how fucked up Republicans (not just Trump) are, what they are pushing for, and field questions from regular people. Have a few notable politicians consistently on while rotating others.

They need to go out to listen to and speak with voters as well instead of waiting for some consultant firm to give advice

Buttigieg is awesome. An accomplished guy with morals, highly educated, military experience, cabinet experience, mayor, happy father, composed speaker who doesn’t insult his rivals. But Republicans slander him just for being gay and even some Dems are uncomfortable with a gay person holding higher office.

Thinking that you have to identify with a certain party isn’t what people should take from this. People should be voting for the best candidates no matter what. Party lines are what caused this mess and really the only time you have to choose is when you register for service at 18 and primaries that aren’t even law abiding as involved parties can choose whomever they wish to represent them. Be free to choose who YOU like for the job and a lot of this nonsense goes away about message and how it “looks”. As of now, your choice to disclose your vote is still yours. Personally, I don’t rally behind a bunch of people with a message that I love, but a message that will put families and children and people in positions to prosper together. Be proud individuals and don’t worry about having to all agree with everything and it will change things

I’m for the messaging, but we need quality candidates that the working class know and can relate to. Show me someone who can actually bring some hope to a seemingly hopeless situation, and carry that momentum for the next four years.

Aggressively campaign, stand their ground, refuse to meet tyrants in the middle, and INTERVIEW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Get on as many podcasts as possible. I want to see positive change and it’s time for the Democratic Party to adapt.

I will never vote for a republican in the foreseeable future, but democrats aren’t giving us much to vote for either. Impress us, so something, make changes in your direction and get rid of the billionaires and back to the people.

Your choice DNC, you already lost the last election based on your incompetence. Why hasn’t the entire leadership team been fired or shown some remorse and resign?

    14. D00d_Where_Am_I on

Most of the Democrats are corporatists. They don’t give af. Vote them out in primaries.

    15. obelix_dogmatix on

Man I wish the dem base wasn’t filled with cowards, and would actually let Pete lead! I don’t know if he aspires to be president or not, but he sure as hell would make an excellent leader! If anything, would love to see him be the senate leader for dems.

    16. From their feckless ineptitude it is had to come to that conclusion sadly.

    17. NeoliberalisFascist on

Neoliberal Pete doing his opportunist thing.

      Yawn.

Dems need a different direction, not another neoliberal empty suit.

    18. Each and every dem that sits silent is as culpable as the GOP for sanewashing trump. Our reps have made it clear that they care more about their livelihood than doing there jobs in representing their constituents. Not calling out trump is anti American, making the whole world think we are nothing but trumpers. Either speak up or GTFO

    19. Please don’t take this as permission to just wait for an election. There’s not even a guarantee we’re having elections moving forward. They’re already openly planning to have him illegally run for a third term. They will not accept a loss, we already have seen that.

Your actions ***right now*** are what matter. Go outside. Meet your neighbors. Get organized. Attend protests. Fuck over ICE and become ungovernable.

    20. strangerbuttrue on

While I like the idea of Dems saying “here’s what you’ll get when you vote us into power”, I’m still stinging from the lack of student loan relief I was promised. Somehow Republicans seem to have more “stopping power” and seem to thwart anything we try to push forward with ease.

    21. Powerful_Artist on

I’m convinced most of them have been bought out or threatened to keep quiet

Other than a couple weak attempts, theyve done almost nothing.

Might as well just say fuck it and leave this damn country
