The fact he has done nothing but side with Russia over Ukraine and antagonize Volodymyr Zelenskyy and try to blame Ukraine for the war when Russia started it by trying to take them over shows exactly what type of person Donald Trump is which is a piece of garbage.
I’m so sick of this “That’s not who we are” BS. At any given time, 1/3rd of the country are horrible people. It’s certainly who at least 1/3rd of people are.
We can be consoled in the knowledge, except for his cult members, that is most assuredly not who Americans are. We are better than that. And if we’re not, we have some serious soul-searching to to.
It’s the opposite though, half of the nation is EXACTLY like Trump and is what Trump represents.
Fat, mean and stupid.
Unfortunately, with our poor education system and a slanted corporate media, that’s who a lot of us are.

It may not be who Biden is, but that’s who Trump is. And sadly he’s still president after all the complaints, whining and whinging that doesn’t really do anything to get rid of him and his ilk from destroying the country further
Half the country voted for him and a huge part didn’t even bother to vote. The conservative sub is cheering for deportations and imprisonment of judges and people from the opposition so I would actually argue that’s exactly who they are.
Except it is, Joe! The fact that you couldn’t see it and press for the law to be upheld in a timely fashion for fear of seeming „too political“ is what got us into this mess in the first place.
Can we think of something a little more effective then “that’s not who we are”? Jesus it holds no weight whatsoever it’s such a platitude.
American culture is based almost exclusively on selfish consumerism at this point. There are still pockets of the spirit of free enterprise and the freedom of expression that made it such an amazing country – but that all seems to go out the window when a new generation of phone comes out.
Enough of this. You elected him for the second time. It is exactly who you are!

Unfortunately it is 1/3 of who we are. And they’re not growing up anytime soon.
He is right. No adult without a mental disorder talks like that.
He is also wrong. That’s exactly who you are. He is the poster boy for the United States of America.
Joe – you saved us in 2020 and then screwed us in 2024. You should have bowed out of reelection in 2023. We now have to deal with 🍊💩 for 4 more years and he’s much more dangerous and unhinged than he was in 2017.
If only someone had selected an AG who was interested in justice rather than “not doing anything that seems political”, i.e. letting MAGAs get away with sedition, attempted coup, election interference, etc. What a world we would be living in today…
Biden made the mistake to debate Trump. He could easily have refused to debate a felon, saying it is beneath the honor of the Presidency and keep to prepared speeches.
Turns out staying home or voting third party wasn’t such a great idea by the gaza-trumpers and all of the other precious, selfish little single issue voters who got their feelings hurt by the mean old democrats.
Echoing what others are saying. This country is full of ignorant, horrible people. Let’s not pretend Trump came out of nowhere.

And this is the problem with Biden, it IS who we are. He refuses to see it and as a result can’t face the challenge.
*“That’s not who we are.”* Oh really? Because from where I’m standing, Trump feels like the most *authentically American* president we’ve ever had. Loud? Check. Obsessed with winning? Check. Blames everyone else? Big check. It’s like looking into a national mirror we don’t want to admit exists. We’re not the wise elder of the global village—we’re the drunk uncle with a shotgun and a Facebook conspiracy page. Let’s not kid ourselves: we’ve always been the rednecks of the world, we just usually wear a nicer suit.
If only whoever was in power between 2017 and 2021 had had the stones to put this traitor in jail where he belongs.

We didn’t remove Biden from office once his senility became blisteringly obvious to anyone not busy gazing down at their own navel. Just like we won’t remove Trump based on his blatant monetization of the presidency and open treason to the Constitution.
I’m beginning to suspect the solution to a corrupt, narcissistic, self-perpetuating two-party system might not rest within a corrupt, narcissistic, self-perpetuating two-party system.

Oh, Joe. I’m so tired of hearing, “This isn’t who we are!” This is EXACTLY who a solid third of the country is. Another third is appalled, and the remaining third is scrolling Instagram.
Sadly, a third of the country is more than enough to produce a MAGA governing sweep.
