Scrapping the mandatory 30min lunch break? Working overnight or more than eight hours before going to class? Forget “could be exploited”. The new rules and allowances would’ve been exploitation in a nutshell.

This would the screaming sub headline in an expose on how the privatized juvenile detention executives and the governor were working on a kickback scam to force Florida to accept child labor so they could enlist the *national guard* to deport migrants, with or without visas or asylum status, to an El Salvador prison, emptying fields of necessary workers, emptying schools to replace them with free child labor. This would be part 3, when it all fell apart and the DA got wind of it. An accompanying spread of photos would show Ron DeSantis being perp walked by FBI agents.
