We’re threatening military action on upwards of seven fronts (including our own citizens) so it’s a stellar time to get rid of our armed forces leaders. I checked the article for why it’s 20 percent rather than just down to as many as are needed to meet our defense goals. But there wasn’t an explanation. It’s possible CNN just left it out, but this is Hegseth so it’s probably arbitrary bullshit. Maybe Trump said a number and he’s basically telling the military to figure it out and also still keep doing everything else too. At least until tomorrow, when all that will be different.

This is so they can order military into the boarder enforcement zone. That’s the border and 100 miles inland. Around 2/3 of the population live within that zone & the military and law enforcement have vast powers inside it…basically martial law. He’s gonna order troops into Mexico first to fight the cartels, then say he has to place troops in the border enforcement zone to stop retaliation.
