Donald Trump flipped out at a journalist for The Wall Street Journal on board Air Force One on Sunday.
The journalist drew Trump’s ire after asking about talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin amid the U.S. president’s effort to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine over the former’s invasion of the latter.
Trump asked which outlet the reporter worked for, a tactic he’s resorted to frequently during his second term.
When told the Journal, he then railed: “That’s what I thought. Boy, you people treat us so badly. Wall Street Journal has truly gone to hell. Go ahead, yeah. Rotten newspaper. You hear me? What I said? It’s a rotten newspaper.”
Trump then told the journalist to “go ahead” with the question, but refused to answer. “I wouldn’t tell The Wall Street Journal because it’d be wasting my time. There are talks, but I don’t want to talk to The Wall Street Journal. Look, Wall Street Journal is China-oriented, and they’re really bad for this country.”

The one kind of good thing about all this is, Trump is treating his personal political allies the same way he’s treating America’s national allies. He’s dumping on the Wall Street Journal and Fox and Murdoch the way he goes after Canada and Greenland and Panama. He’s attacking everyone he needs for support.
He’s circling the drain, and he knows it, and is lashing out. His days are numbered and he can tell.
Where did he get the idea that Russia and China aren’t on the same side??
Trump has always been a dick. I’m shocked that anyone would think he’s going to change.

WSJ is the closest to centrist of any right leaning media in the country despite being Murdoch owned. Probably because it is more focused on fiscal news than anything else and numbers are much harder to bullshit in a publication aimed toward the people most qualified to interpret and assess those numbers.
So it is no wonder Trump is antagonistic toward them. Any media he isn’t able to control is a threat to him.
How can anyone look at this piece of shit and think he’s anything but a toddler with too much power?
This seems to be how Trump responds when he can’t respond with a denial, he insults.

It’s absurd how this fuck face can talk to journalists this way and nobody calls him out.

The best part is the WSJ reporters non reaction just made him madder. Classic bully behaviour.
He likes his social media influencers. They don’t ask real questions that matter. They just cover Trumps narrative. The real press will slowly be pushed out like the AP. A very sad day to come, sooner than later.
I was born in the 50s and we frequently used a R word that’s no longer socially acceptable but that describes this guy to a T.
Any journalist that asks him a tough question or one he doesn’t like, has gone to hell. He’s truly a total embarrassment.
Remember kids, one of the key tenets of fascism is the denigration and removal of a free press. We are becoming closer to a country like Russia where you can be jailed for just having an opinion contrary to the regime.

Say what you will about Trump, but he sure lets us know which news orgs are asking the real questions.
From an editorial perspective the WSJ and I are not on the same page, from a free trade and business perspective the WSJ and are copacetic, from the being honest reporters doing their job…this is what reporters are supposed to be doing. Questioning, doubting, asking, digging, etc. Rogan and podcasts are not news. The worst thing I hear from people is they get their news from podcasts because they are ‚honest‘. Right, honestly propaganda.

Him pointing out that the journal is China oriented is very telling. He’s getting his policy plans from Peter Navarro. Peter Navarro, for some reason, has a major hate Boner for China. There’s plenty of things to dislike about China, but they never seem to have issues with their social policy or human rights track record. It’s always business related.
