For information, JAXA’s Martian Moons eXploration spacecraft will explore the two moons of Mars (and Mars itself to a lesser extent) and notably land on Phobos and collect over 10 grams of surface material. The samples will arrive at Earth in 2031 (in a re-entry capsule). It will be launched in August 2026 aboard an H3-24 rocket.
