I mean, in an administration where everyone else is either permanently at a nail salon or under a bottle of Jack, I can’t be all that surprised that Rubio seems marginally competent.

      ***From Rolling Stone’s Peter Wade:***

Secretary of state, acting administrator for USAID, acting lead archivist, acting national security adviser. Marco Rubio, the politician Trump once dubbed “little Marco,” has become the president’s go-to guy for big roles in the administration. But Democrats are casting doubt on whether it is possible for Rubio — or anyone — to balance all of those jobs.

meh, he’s the last adult in the room and we could be in far worse hands. I’ll chalk this one one as a victory.

ln a normal administration, it wouldn’t matter that much, because there are plenty of competent civil servants to keep things running smoothly. But with the DOGE demolition of the civil service, Rubio doesn’t have the chops for even one of those jobs.

why’d you help vote him in then dipshits, you still havent realized republicans have fallen in line for how many decades?

I would much rather Rubio hold both than anything else. Stephen Miller is being talked about for the NSA, I would much rather Rubio.

Then why did so many of them vote to confirm? At this point, they’re either in on it or incompetent.

Under Biden’s economy Rubio only needed 1 job to make ends meet.

    10. I’d almost rather this be the case than having any of these morons spend any time and attention at any of these jobs. They seem to be doing more damage when they focus too hard on any one agency.

I’m sure finding qualified people willing to join this circus is going to get very difficult. What’s more authoritarian than a military parade like the communist countries like to put on … guess we got that to look forward to.

    12. He sucks, yet is still the only quasi-competent person in the national security apparatus. Like, no, he shouldn’t be wearing four hats, but I’m more scared about who’d replace him.

I still remember lil Marco trembling trying to drink a bottled water in the debates against the felon. He’s never recovered from that and just looks like a weak little boy bending his knee to his nemesis.

Rubio the smartest one in the room… well, *Houston we have a problem*

    16. Conflicted.

He clearly sold his soul, but lets not kid ourselves. If not him someone worse would be taking his place in those positions.

    17. I think it’s hilarious they finally found a Hispanic guy taking people’s jobs
