Hallo Freunde! Ich bin (M29) vor, dieses Jahr mit meinem Hund nach Österreich zu gehen. Haben Sie einen Reisezerat? Ich meine alles. Ich habe gerade angefangen darüber nachzudenken, also habe ich in meinem Abschluss wirklich etwas in Bezug auf die Reise, ich bin alle offen für Vorschläge, es gibt nur eine Sache – ich möchte Berge wieder sehen, Berge Gandalf! Ich möchte mindestens drei Tage lang gehen und würde eine Bergkabine bevorzugen, in der wir alle von uns selbst sein könnten, aber ich weiß, dass das ziemlich teuer ist.
Ich weiß nur, dass ich mit dem Auto fahren werde, da es mit Hund am einfachsten ist, aber noch nichts wird entschieden. Außerdem möchte ich wegen der Preise und insbesondere der Hitze außerhalb der Hauptsaison gehen. Ich denke also an September/Oktober/November.
Hast du irgendwelche Vorschläge für mich? Was Sie sich kümmern oder worauf Sie sich vorstellen können, was zu tun ist und nicht tun, um die Einheimischen usw. zu verärgern.

Just remember to bring a muzzle for your dog. Some public transportation services and cable cars require your dog to wear one 🙂

Please consider laws, regarding your dog.
A leash is nearly everywhere necessary and a biting basket is in some areas also necessary.
besides, if you wanna go for a hike, please reminde the territorial sense of free roaming cows (especially with a dog).
As you wrote, if u wanna travel that late in the year in the mountains, be aware of fast changing conditions regarding the weather and ground conditions. Snow is above 1300hm often treacherous because of different temperatue layers (soft on the upper part, but icy beneath).
If you wanna go mountaineering at this time please consider the right equipment and mindset for the tour. (weather forcast, route planning, enough clothes for snow, wind, rain and/or UV Light in higher regions).
Please do not litter and take your dogs litter with you (Sackerl fürs Gackerl).

hey! i have something for you.
few years ago i stayed at Bergfriedhütte (https://www.bergfriedhuette.at/) with my dog and absolutely loved it. there is many great hikes around, my favorite being the one at Malta-Tal, there is a huge dam and a nice hike around the lake. but you can also just start up the mountain from there. just make sure you don’t go close to the cows, specially when they have calfs, with your dog. I had one instance were we had to leg it. fortunately cows are not very agile.
you can even go in main season because the heat is a non issue at this altitude and it is not booked out and quite cheap to be honest.
i went there 1 more time with my now wife afterwards (and the dog) and enjoyed the stay again very much. best view i have ever had at breakfast.
