I worked on a prototype floor cleaner robot in the 90’s that we deployed as part of a pilot program at UPS in a routing facility where the cardboard dust would get inches deep. It got constantly sabotaged and “accidentally” sideswiped and the navigation markers were always getting covered. This humanoid will get destroyed in week 1. Lesson: don’t deploy automation at a union shop.
