Don’t forget that Trump’s biggest targets over the years have been real conservatives who would have opposed his fascist movement that he managed to get removed in primaries. The night of the long knives was not targeting Hitler’s enemies, it was targeting many of those who helped bring him to power in the first place.

It’s a suicide cult. Step by step you project your inner self hatred on, attack and eventually annihilate less and less marginalised groups, until nothing is left to annihilate anymore.
It never ends because fascists don’t understand that the root of their misery is in their own feeling of inadequacy which they desperately try to soothe with violence, always going for the most helpless and vulnerable groups first like the cowards they are. They’re unloveable losers, have given up on life and improving themselves and now try to drag the rest down to their level of misery.
