Now, in a perfect world, the Greek Cypriots would not had a problem with that, that is if Turkey was the actual guarantee of peace as it should be.  That would mean they would had leave the island around the 70s, the constitution would stay the same and we where all be in our homes. If thy would happen, Turkey and Cyprus would had greater relations and maybe actually celebrate it. That never happened.
