    1. I am a Chicago Bears fan through and through, but Jalen Hurts is now my second favorite team unto himself.

Saints fan here but (click) I’m just gonna (click, click) buy me a Jalen Hurts jersey to go along with my Colin Kaepernick jersey.

It wasn’t just him. There were also other players who didn’t go.

      >“The Eagles enthusiastically accepted the invitation from the White House to attend today’s event,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “The vast majority of the team is coming, and those who cannot attend had scheduling conflicts.”

      Scheduling conflicts! Sure.

Proud of my teams QB, wish more followed in his lead but Jalen once again met the moment

Patrick Maholmes sure as fuck would have attended and put on his best lil best-boi-suit to dress up for his daddy.

Good for you, Jalen. We need more of this in general.

It’s really good to see Jalen prioritizing his values and avoiding that… well, you know, that whole circus surrounding Trump, especially given that Trump previously disinvited the Eagles team after some players decided against attending in 2018, quite a reminder of how things can spiral out of control, isn’t it.

I guess he didn’t want to join the proverbial 9 Nazis in chatting up a Nazi. Good for him.

Jalen seems like such a great dude. So humble, hard working and principled

    9. Packers fan here. Fuck yeah Hurts. Would love to know who else stayed away.

This guy understands what work is.

He went from a historic start at Alabama to being benched behind Tau Tagovailoa. He transferred to Oklahoma and took them to the Peach bowl. In the draft he falls to mid-second round behind Herbert, Burrows, Tagovailoa, and Love. Ow he is a Super Bowl champion and MVP.

The whole time he has been humble and made no complaints about his situation. It seems on brand he would skip meeting with a wannabe slave owner and rapist.

      I respect him more.

Wish the whole team had a scheduling conflict.

Chiefs fan here. Glad his team was the one to molly whop the Chiefs in the SB.

Respect factor for Jalen and any other Eagle player who skipped the farse just went way up.

I wouldn’t personally skip something like this if I was in his shoes but DJT is the one exception. I wouldn’t have felt the same way about G. W. Bush or H. W. Bush or Reagan. Only DJT and his cult members who continue to make a mockery of this country. I don’t blame him at all. I wouldn’t want to be seen in any where near the same location as Mango man. I don’t want to give off even the slightest indication that I support anything that man does because I consider most everything he does to be criminal. Kinda like almost every court he has been in front of.
