Absolute insanity, Your country is going to crumble from outright stupidity

    2. RFK… JFC. SMH. These anti-vaxxer’s are going to be the literal death of us all.

This man has the least between his ears of any Kennedy in history….

Trump’s is going to pardon all of them on his way out and then blame it on Biden doing the same thing. Only these people need to be in prison for life. RFK Jr already unalived people with his backwards beliefs this is nothing new for him.

Not everyone. Just had my titers checked and I won’t be getting measles. I do feel sympathy for the immunocompromised but the antivaxxers get what they deserve.

This is what happens when your health system is run by a brain worm wrapped in an old catcher’s mitt

    7. This is what happens when you let a man with a political science degree make decisions for national health.

    8. I wonder if the US change their views in my lifetime of if they start a new civil war/destroy their country before.

Not me, I have an immune system! Which is immune to measles because i got my MMR shot as a kid, as did my wife, kids, entire family, everyone I associate with…

    10. „The vaccine wanes over a lifetime“ is such a wild argument to instead infect all the kids. Firstly, this isnt true for most people, and even waning protection will be enough with herd immunity, but also…. ever heard of a booster vaccine? Maybe hes still training on the job and hasnt heard…

    11. About 170ish million eligible voters are either for this or don’t mind it. Or they are just incredibly stupid

    12. Had a little scare with my 6 month old a couple of weeks ago because he had symptoms that resembled measles to include a spotty red rash. Ended up being something else but the fact that this was even a thought is depressing.

We ended up getting him an early (6 month is the earliest, but 1 month is usually when you get it) MMR because we are traveling.

    13. Strong argument for him being the Horseman; Pestilence, if Trump is the Anti-Christ.

    14. This is how diseases evolve.

RFK is long-term making diseases worse and vaccines/medicine/antibiotics less effective.

    15. Lawsuits. Unnecessary and cavalier attitude towards the life and health of constituents.

      Willful neglect.

    16. No doubt more childhood diseases will make a grand comeback. So much for new parents to look forward to-and they wonder why birth rates are going down.

Hey, kiddos. You get born into a dying planet with popularized fascism AND measles! But, hey, at least you can child labor your way out 🤓🤓🤓

I think he believes in a weird interpretation of Darwinism. He wants us all to get diseases so that the weak die off and the strong survive to “improve” the human race. He sees those who die as expendable and the social and personal trauma as worth it. It aligns with his rugged living and eating wild game philosophies too

He’s not stupid. He just doesn’t have any values in common with most people in western democracies.

To be clear he’s a monster. I’m not excusing his weird philosophy.

Can we all start collectively calling this measles outbreak “Kennedy Measles”? It is his legacy after all.

The comment about exposure to measles giving people immunity makes me think, is he confusing chicken pox (varicella) with measles?… This presidency is well and truly on the path of forcing America to be an example of why we have vaccine mandates.

RFK Jr and the Republicans are willingly putting children in danger for political reasons by touting this anti-vaccine nonsense. Children are going to suffer from this. Remember how Aids/HIV depleted T-Cells and killed a lot of people?

Immune Amnesia can have the same impact on a kid who gets measles. It can wipe out their memory cells that were built up to fight other diseases/infections. The only memory cell left will be for measles, and it takes a long time to rebuild those T-cells.

    22. Everyone should check their own vaccination records. Up into the early 80s, it was common to only give a single dose of MMR. They eventually realized that 10% of the time a single dose didn’t give proper coverage. I’d you grew up in that time period, you could benefit from a second dose today.

I feel like this administration is determined to kill as many of us as possible. It’s downright insane really. My mom had measles way back in the early 50’s. Not a good experience and she’ll even tell you that it has caused long term issues. People, get your kids vaccinated. Do it.

    24. kevin-s_famous_chili on

I have a newborn less than a week old. Everyone currently around her is fully vaccinated. But I’ll have to put her in childcare and risk that exposure because people are uneducated idiots. Protect those who can’t be protected and get vaccinated!
