    1. It the tariffs don’t get reeled in judges doing their jobs is going to be the least of Trump’s AG’s worries.

      Channelling Erdogan now.

Never thought I’d see the day America aspired to be in the realm of Russia, North Korea, Turkey or Iran.

For Bondi, laws are whatever the person paying Bondi says the laws are.

Remember that Trump personally gave Bondi $50,000 just days after she announced she would decline to prosecute him for defrauding students at Trump University.

Trump might as well have first met Bondi under a street lamp at night as far as the nature of their professional relationship is concerned….

    4. Pissing off judges generally does not work out well for those who piss them off. Judges demand respect and control in their courtrooms.

This is going to motivate most judges to circle the wagons around each other and go after DOJ. Judges are in a sort of fraternity, so their defense of procedure and each other will mostly cross party lines. Sorority Pam is not a member of that club.

    5. “I think some of these judges think they are beyond and above the law, and they are not,” Bondi said.

Unlike the current administration which not only thinks it’s above the law, it acts like it is as well

    6. If the day ever comes that these lunatics are no longer in power, we as a country need to go against our normal political instincts to move on. We need to arrest and prosecute each and everyone of these people from Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, etc all the way up to Trump. They need to be thrown in the darkest hole of an American prison to be a lesson for anyone thinking about trying the BS ever again. Sadly, I don’t know if we will make it out from under this boot of fascism.

    7. First they came for the immigrants. And I did not say anything because I was not an immigrant.

Then they came for the judges and I did not say anything because I was not a judge .

Then they came for the politicians, and I did not say anything because I was not a politician. ⬅️ That’s next.

Then they came for me. And there was no one left to speak for me.

      Pam Bondi’s resume includes

      – lobbying for Qatar, a country which tolerates slavery among many other human rights violations

      – convincing people during Trump’s impeachment that the process itself was illegitimate, no such thing as checks and balances when republican is king

      – coordinating a lot of the less violent attempts to steal the 2020 election

This is an Attorney General who is firmly committed to ending law and order in this country. She is absolutely intent on arresting judges to eliminate them as a check on Republicans‘ radical revolution to end American democracy and turn us into an oligarchy. None of us are going to have stable jobs and access to justice in part because Pam Bondi was returned to power rather than put in jail.

Excellent. I was afraid they were going to go for plausible deniability. A straight up attack on the entire judiciary makes the stakes much clearer.

Though, secretly, it would be the funniest thing ever to see Roberts arrested for some made up charge because Trump doesn’t like his rulings. We’ll have a Supreme Court consisting of Thomas and Alito soon enough.

Yeah, yeah. More than half of Congress are dead-eyed automatons vacantly voting „yes“ on whatever insane, illegal whim comes into Trump’s calcified mind. The judiciary is the only independent coequal branch of government capable of checking them at the moment, so they’re trying to scare judges. I am not that familiar with judges but they seem like the kind of people who got into the job because they like being the final word on things, so we’ll see how that goes.

    11. If they can get away with jailing judges, there is literally nothing stopping them from jailing opposition. We have crossed the Rubicon for the 53rd time in the past 100 days.

    12. Again I say „if you’re working right now, you are working to enable Donald Trump’s fascist takeover of the United States. Stop whatever you’re doing that isn’t protesting and boycotting and sit on your hands until he leaves office.“

Arresting judges for fake charges (which these are) is crossing yet another red line. Shut this entire thing down.

Trump has 34 convicted felonies, forcefully raped and ripped out chunks of his ex-wife Ivana’s hair. Oh, and she also died mysteriously and timely right before the New York probe, where Trump family members were meant to testify in a civil investigation into Trump’s business practices.

This Wisconsin judge told some ICE agents they couldn’t come into the courtroom.

One of these individuals uses lawlessness to his advantage.

Blondi is a traitor that belongs in jail.

Looks like she’s ahed a couple decades during the administration as well.

    15. Independent-Stay-593 on

Fuck this bitch. They have been intentionally escalating their abuse of government power for the purpose of inciting the left to violence so that they can play victim and feed their own bullshit stories to MAGA fools. No matter *what* they start doing, do not become violent. Do not give them the ammunition they want. Get in the street and protest. Start petitions for recalling shitbags in local and federal governments. Go to town halls. Donate to legal funds. Take video of people losing their shit and cops being crazy and ICE acting illegally with no warrants. Do all the things, but do not take the bait and act violently.

    16. Haven’t we seen this happen, before???

In 1933, the Nazis passed laws removing Jewish and Socialist judges, lawyers, and other court officers from their positions.

    17. ICE keep arresting people without warrants at courthouses while wearing balaclavas and pretending not to be ICE. It will be interesting to see if the judge is bailed or held in custody, it doesn’t really matter whether they are convicted or not the process is the punishment. It has only been 3 months and Trump is already arresting judges, I’m not sure this has ever happened before?

    18. So, let me get this straight…

The laws are now illegal, and only Trump’s whims are the new laws?
