Does flip mean convincing a few republican representatives now or waiting two years for a vote
As far as flipping the house, I hope I am wrong, but I think the average American doesn’t understand our civics system well enough to realize that with a few key changes during midterms, congress will be able to cock block Trump for the rest of his term and put an end to this donkey show.
A lot of people think they are helpless and just have to sit back and watch. Others are just lazy bums who love to complain after the fact even though they didn’t vote.
Everything is going to be completely eviscerated by midterms. Y’all will probably be arrested or worse by then. We don’t need to wait. Y’all should be working to convince the GOP in congress they’re next on the list to be disappeared. Not twiddling your thumbs for 2 years.

Two years from now, and if Congress flips to Democrats, getting a conviction in the Senate would still be unlikely. It depends on what further crimes he commits in the next 20 months or so.
There aren’t going to be legitimate midterms to flip the house or the Senate. The GOP cannot afford to lose their majority and they won’t let that happen. If you think Trump doesn’t know that already, and especially the puppet masters who are telling Trump what to do don’t know that, you’re crazy.

It’s difficult take anyone seriously who believes the opposition party should wait 768 days to take major action, when the sitting US president has brought the country, its economy, and its standing in the world to its knees in 100 days, while eviscerating the rule of law. Is this a joke?

Find a way to make Americans and not just democrats hate Trump, and he will be impeached. This will only end when Americans have decided they have had enough. We should be doing everything we can to accelerate Americans getting to that point.
The Democrats could control all three houses and Donald Trump would still be free to do any criminal acts of his choosing. They would struggle mightily to stop a rubber duck from drowning.

I think everyone understands the math matters, but the problem is that establishment Dems think this means sit on your hands for 2 years and hope the right choice is self-evident vs. constantly making the case, mucking things up, showing some fight until it breaks through to the average citizen.

I’m baffled by the conviction with which many here are saying he won’t be removed. fucking up the global economy has dire consequences, and apparently the only thing the R party cares about is their money. he has lost support in pretty much every issue, including immigration, and polling continues to sink. even Fox news had it out there. the effect of the tariffs haven’t fully set in. these guys are genuinely incompetent- I know our elected representatives are cowardly, and got us into this mess, but this won’t be till midterms, as we quite obviously don’t have that much time to save Americas reputation and it’s people. while it’s awful and stressful, we are winning most of these fights, they just have cruelty theatrics which are turning off some of his prior supporters ( I mean Candance Owens?!) once this financial pain is more thoroughly felt by everyone, spines will stiffen up, finally, because there will literally be no choice. these guys aren’t even good at fascism.
