    1. >Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested April 25 by federal authorities who are investigating whether she tried to help an undocumented immigrant avoid arrest after he appeared in her courtroom last week, officials confirmed.

Shit just got real, folks. Trump is going after the judges.

Wow… the Trump people are trying to intimate the Judiciary. SCOTUS better watch out…

    3. This is what you get when you put Kash Patel as the head of the FBI.

There is no way this ends well.

    4. Watch them try to normalize this.

It’s the final stage of stealing your country from you right before your eyes.

Several witnesses report that ICE did not present a warrant before entering the courtroom and it is not clear whether ICE ever possessed or presented a judicial warrant, generally required for agents to access non-public spaces like Judge Dugan’s chambers.

Rep. Ryan Clancy (D-19) issued the following statement:

“I commend Judge Hannah Dugan’s defense of due process by preventing ICE from shamefully using her courtroom as an ad hoc holding area for deportations. We cannot have a functional legal system if people are justifiably afraid to show up for legal proceedings, especially when ICE agents have already repeatedly grabbed people off the street in retaliation for speech and free association, without even obtaining the proper warrants. While the facts in this case are still unfolding, it’s clear that action like Judge Dugan’s are what is required for democracy to survive the Trump Regime. She used her position of power and privilege to protect someone from an agency that has repeatedly, flagrantly abused its own power. If enough of us act similarly, and strategically, we can stand with our neighbors and build a better world together.”

She was arrested for obstruction. That reminds me, how many times has trump obstructed justice and gotten away with it??? It’s fine when trump does it!

    7. Notice that it says they arrested her while they „investigate whether she“ did what they are claiming. Absent any danger of violence or a flight risk, an arrest prior to investigation is not the way things are supposed to operate. This is definitely intended as intimidation of judges that do not rule in support of Trump’s illegal activities. It’s only just begun.

    8. Is there a warrant for the Judge arrest id like to see what justification a judge saw to approve this based on information so far.

But we were told we were being alarmists when we said shit like this would happen before the election.

Totally not fascist behavior at all.

If you haven’t already I urge you to embrace the 2nd Amendment and get yourself armed and trained. It’s moments in history like these the Founders worried about. This is some scary shit that’s happening right now, in real time. Don’t let the jackbooted thugs take you away and disappear you.  Embrace your right to defend yourself.

Criminals running our government, judges getting arrested. Makes sense.

Petal knows this crap is wrong and why he deleted his post. These guys are no better than Hitler’s inner circle.

    13. Friendly reminder that if Joe Biden’s FBI had arrested a judge, the New York Times would be calling for his immediate impeachment.

Meanwhile, the top headline of Fox right now? „Judge Blocks Trump Executive Order Despite Overwhelming American Support“. The propaganda machine is priming the right wingers to make judges the enemy.

    15. This is devastatingly huge news. This is essentially openly arresting political opponents. What does law even mean in the US anymore?

    16. Stunning-Morning2665 on

The Turd Reich stinks more than ever. What an embarrassment the USA has become.

    17. >Last week’s arrest marked at least the third time in recent months that federal immigration agents have come to the courthouse with arrest warrants.

Did they have warrants? Were they even ICE agents? They have been refusing to identify themselves or provide warrants.

    18. Yay! Fascism!

They will continue to deny fascist acts, while committing fascist acts.

It is starting to look like there will be a reckoning involving state and federal law enforcement arresting each other, probably culminating in some shootouts. Blue state leadership cannot just keep letting the feds violate their laws.

Arresting judges… Yeah, we’re not cooked. We’re blackened. Extra crispy Cajun style

Lying fascists do what fascists do.

      Kash Pattel:
      >“Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but **the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public.**“

      From the article:
      >“Reached in her courtroom on April 24, Dugan declined to discuss the investigation. **The veteran judge handles misdemeanor cases exclusively**

They’re making it sound like the guy is massive threat to society for misdemeanors. This was done intentionally to incite fear.

      More:
      >“Franklyn Gimbel, a prominent Milwaukee defense attorney and former federal prosecutor, called Dugan’s arrest “outrageous.”

      >“First and foremost, I know — as a former federal prosecutor and as a defense lawyer for decades – that a person who is a judge, who has a residence who has no problem being found, should not be arrested, if you will, like some common criminal,” Gimbel said. “And I’m shocked and surprised that the US Attorney’s office or the FBI would not have invited her to show up and accept process if they’re going to charge her with a crime.”

      >He said that typically someone who is “not on the run,” and facing this type of crime would be called and invited to come in to have their fingerprints“.

They’re doing this out in the open to create fear. They’re targeting lawyers and judges. Our judicial system is fully under attack.

They’ve literally been advertising that people are going to be sent to a concentration camp. One notoriously known for not allowing visits from lawyers or family. She was trying to save this mans life. How can people see this and not immediately get sick to their stomach by how similar this is to Nazi Germany..
